"I was trying so hard not to show my flaws that I didn't enjoy myself. Really, I'm so sorry. But, I just can't lie to myself." -Serinuma Kae (Watashi ga Motete Dousunda)
This week's anime review is going to be based on Watashi ga Motete Dousunda. This anime came out during the fall of 2016. It is also popular and has a total of 12 episodes. The genre consists of comedy, harem, romance, school, and shoujo. It you're a fujoshi (directed at girls) this anime is perfect for you because it is totally relatable. A must watch anime. I loved it and there's also a manga if you're interested in reading it. Enjoy!

Synopsis: Going based off of My Anime List "Kae Serinuma is a second year high schooler and an avid fujoshi who secretly ships her classmates, Igarashi-kun and Nanashima-kun. The death of her favorite anime character causes her to become stressed—and loses weight rapidly. Now that Serinuma has become an attractive girl to her classmates, her snarky kouhai Shinomiya-kun, and her senpai Mutsumi, how is she going to deal with them ...with her constant BL-filled, fujoshi mind?!" Basically, this anime revolves around Kae Serinuma who's a high school girl and fujoshi/otaku. As mentioned up above, she used to be pretty chubby and the death of one of her favorite anime characters brought about her change into this pretty attractive girl. Due to this change, all the guys that she knows tend to fall for her and become more attached every day. This leads to several events that you must absolutely watch. Characters: There are several characters for this anime. The main character of course is Serinuma Kae. (Note: they're the same character...2 in 1 per say)
As for the rest of the characters, you've got (in order from left to right from the picture below) Nanashima Nozomu, Nishina Shima, Shinomiya Hayato, Mutsumi Asuma, and Igarashi Yuusuke.
If I were to choose one as my favorite character, it would have to be Mutsumi. I really like him a lot. He's kinda quiet but has a caring nature and is also very smart and kind. He's also very open-minded and generous and really sweet.
I just like this character so much, but the rest are also my favorites even though I like Mutsumi more. The other characters have their own unique personality and each one is very lovable. Or at least, in my opinion.
Art/Animation: I think that the art was splendid. It was different and I enjoyed the character designs. There was so much color that is very vivid and cheerful. The animation was also great. There would be sparkles and twinkles and shining lights in some of the scenes. It was really cute and I thought it was a nice addition to enhance some parts in the anime.

(He shines so bright!!!)
(HAHAHA😃)
(0hhhh Kae...)
Music: The opening and ending songs were good and they were pretty up to beat to the whole anime. They were enjoyable in a way. They don't stand out as much as other anime openings and endings do but they were tolerable in their own way. I liked it.
Overall, this concludes this week's anime review. Tune in next time!
