Image result for boruto naruto next generations quotes

This week's anime review will be on Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. "WOW" This time, I'm changing things up a bit...just slightly though. Usually, my anime reviews would only consist of completed series if you haven't noticed. However, Boruto isn't. If you're someone who is currently watching this, then you know that this anime just aired in the spring of this year. So as of now, it is currently airing and several episodes have already been released. To be more exact, there are 8 total episodes. It's fairly interesting and as for me, I'm very excited for every time a new episode is released because I'm a huge fan of the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden series. I really loved it. Also, since they're completed and I've seen practically seen every single episode, I have very high hopes for Boruto and I expect great things form this new series.

Synopsis: Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is basically continuing on from the Naruto series. However, instead of telling Naruto's story, this series is giving rise to Boruto's Story. In other words, the son of the Seventh Hokage which is of course, Naruto Uzumaki. Time has passed and the shinobi world has begun to change. New events and several circumstances occur that lead to strange and mysterious things. Follow Boruto as he makes his journey to find out the ways of a ninja and so much more.

Characters: As for the characters, it mainly consists of the cast from the Naruto series. But as you can see, they're all grown up. Then you've got their kids. They are Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, Misuki, Shikadai Nara, Inojin Yamanaka, Chocho Akimichi, and Metal Lee. "The New Generation!" Well, if you want to get to know them a little better and gain a better understanding on their backgrounds, I suggest clicking this link⇨Boruto characters

Here's the Main Cast!    Image result for boruto naruto next generation characters

Art/Animation: The art is pretty much the same as for the Naruto Series but there are a few changes here and there. They're not really noticeable though. Also, I like the character designs and I really like the new generation. However, it breaks my heart to see Naruto's generation growing up. To me, I prefer the original generation with Naruto and Sasuke and the others. Besides that, I've grown to like some the newer characters. They all have a unique and interesting personality. It's also great to see and witness what traits they inherited from their parents. I think it's awesome. The animation is also thrilling.

Music: The opening and ending songs for this series are quite different then what I would have expected. The opening was very up to beat and there were a  variety of flashy colors. It gave of this happy and exciting vibe which is very different from the Naruto openings that I have seen. I thought it was good in my opinion. I enjoyed listening and watching them.

Overall, this concludes this week's anime review. I really recommend giving Boruto: Next Generations a try. It'll be worth your time...I hope. Either way, I can't wait for the new update. Tune in next time!

Anime Review: Arslan Senki

"Such a precious, beautiful dream...It is foolish to shred it with the sword of ugly reality. If you had only accepted it, the dream would become a memory, growing ever sweeter, adding glamorous color to your life." -Gieve (Arslan Senki)

                                       Image result for arslan gieve

This week's anime review is based on Arslan Senki or in other words, The Heroic Legend of Arslan. This anime was premiered in the Spring of 2015 with a grand total of 25 episodes. This anime features some action, adventure, historical, drama, fantasy, and shounen. There's also some violence and profanity. Well, it's "WAR" so it makes sense to see some heads roll off or any hacking away at someone with a sword or spear. I just so happened to finish this anime in about a week and in my opinion, it was awesome! I don't particularly watch any war anime or of such, but this series was quite the thrill. I enjoyed it very much and I would recommend this to anyone out there that's interested. Either way, Enjoy!

                                               (COVER)

Synopsis: Background, according to MyAnimeList "The year is 320. Under the rule of the belligerent King Andragoras III, the Kingdom of Pars is at war with the neighboring empire, Lusitania."

So basically, this anime revolves around the young prince Arslan. As mentioned up above, his father the King, goes to war with Lusitania. On the day of Arslan's maiden battle, the knights of Pars thought that they would surely win since they have never been defeated in battle. However, they were proven wrong when they are betrayed by some of their comrades and are led to a trap. The Lusitanians take the upper hand and dominate and seize Pars. With the King taken prisoner and the Queen to be married to the other King, Arslan is forced to retreat alongside with Darynn or the "Black Knight". In his journey, Arslan acquires new allies and friends to help him take back his homeland and the throne. He also faces several challenges along the way that force him to make some drastic choices as the Lusitanians are also after his head. During this time, the prince must find his resolve in order for him to be crowned the King of Pars.

Starting from left to right, you've got....Arslan, Daryun, Narsus, Elam, Farangis, and Gieve. But of course, there are other minor characters that come out in the anime. If interested to find out a bit more and gain some knowledge on these characters, go to this link⇨arslansenki-characters. Also, just to put it out there....my favorite characters are Daryun and Gieve. The rest are okay.

Art/Animation: I liked the art. When I first began to watch it, it reminded me of Fullmetal Alchemist because I somewhat saw a resemblance in the art. In continuation, the character designs were awesome and I was fully enthralled into watching each and every episode. The animation was amazing. The sword clashing and the way everything played out was outstanding.

Music: The first opening and ending were great! The second opening and ending was okay. Basically, I loved the first OP and ED. They were up to beat and I felt like I could listen to it every other day to the point where I get annoyed. That'aes about it for this little section.

Overall, this concludes this week's anime review. Tune in next time!

Anime Review: Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu

"I can't cry anymore. I feel like I've lost something. An important part of being human." -Izumi Shinichi (Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu)

Image result for kiseijuu sei no kakuritsu sad gif

This week's anime review is based on Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu or also known as Parasyte. A pretty popular series that came out during the fall of the year 2014. With a total of 24 episodes, this anime falls under action, sci-fi, horror, psychological, drama, and seinen for genre type. It's an intense-filled anime with suspenseful moments to keep you watching for more as the wave of death hits. I highly recommend you to watch this, even though at first I was not into it but I realized it's worth it. Hopefully you get a bit of insight and maybe even give it a try. お楽しみください。(*please enjoy)

Synopsis: Background according to MyAnimeList, "All of a sudden, they arrived: parasitic aliens that descended upon Earth and quickly infiltrated humanity by burrowing into the brains of vulnerable targets. These insatiable beings acquire full control of their host and are able to morph into a variety of forms in order to feed on unsuspecting prey."

Image result for kiseijuu sei no kakuritsu sad gif

BTW, it's not snowing, those green-like things are actually the parasites descending onto Earth.

(Now back to me) So basically, this anime revolves around Izumi Shinichi, a 16 year-old high school student that ended up becoming victim to these parasitic aliens. However, it fails to take over his brain so his right arm was taken over. Unlike other parasites that managed to take the brain of other humans, Shinichi has to coexist with the one in his arm which is later name Migi. Because of this, Migi also needs to rely on Shinichi if they want to manage staying alive. Many events befall them that lead to tragedy, death, and a lot of doubt. Watch this anime, I recommend it.

Characters: There are several characters for this anime. The ones shown in the picture below are basically the main ones, but there are a couple of other characters that show up within the series that play a small part. Well either way, starting from left to right is Akiho Suzuki, Yuko Tachikawa, Kana Kimishima, Satomi Murano, Migi, Shinichi Izumi,  Uragami, and Ryoko Tamiya (Reiko Tamura). Art/Animation: The art was great and the way that the parasites where made were kind of freaky looking but I didn't mind that. In a way they were pretty cool, especially Migi which I loved the most. The backgrounds for the scenery was good and the characters designs were also great. The animation was awesome. The fighting between parasites was the best part. The swinging of blades and the way those weird like tentacles (I don't know what to call them) were moving so fast added to the intensity.

Basically, this anime revolves around Kae Serinuma who's a high school girl and fujoshi/otaku. As mentioned up above, she used to be pretty chubby and the death of one of her favorite anime characters brought about her change into this pretty attractive girl. Due to this change, all the guys that she knows tend to fall for her and become more attached every day. This leads to several events that you must absolutely watch. Characters: There are several characters for this anime. The main character of course is Serinuma Kae. (Note: they're the same character...2 in 1 per say)

Image result for watashi ga motete dousunda characters

If I were to choose one as my favorite character, it would have to be Mutsumi. I really like him a lot. He's kinda quiet but has a caring nature and is also very smart and kind. He's also very open-minded and generous and really sweet.

Image result for watashi ga motete dousunda mutsumi gif

I just like this character so much, but the rest are also my favorites even though I like Mutsumi more. The other characters have their own unique personality and each one is very lovable. Or at least, in my opinion.

Art/Animation: I think that the art was splendid. It was different and I enjoyed the character designs. There was so much color that is very vivid and cheerful. The animation was also great. There would be sparkles and twinkles and shining lights in some of the scenes. It was really cute and I thought it was a nice addition to enhance some parts in the anime.

Music: The opening and ending songs were good and they were pretty up to beat to the whole anime. They were enjoyable in a way. They don't stand out as much as other anime openings and endings do but they were tolerable in their own way. I liked it.
